As I'm typing this post, Westman is closed for a snow day.  I can't help but think about Monica & Nicolas' winter wedding and how grateful I was for it not being a snow day like today, because the ceremony was in Brandon MB and reception was in Rocanville SK, so highways closed = not an option!  Snow is pretty for photos, but not nice for driving 2 hours...Thankfully they were blessed with a cold & windy Manitoba winter day - safe for driving - no blizzards, yay!  Outdoor photos left them feeling frozen pretty quickly, so we found some natural light & nature indoors and stayed comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed the process, no need to freeze!  It was so cold, I captured a sundog on the drive to Rocanville, where they enjoyed a very warm reception.  The whole hall was either filled with laughter or wiping away tears (myself included!) as emotional speeches, videos & meaningful memories warmed hearts.  And those first dance moments!
