Monica & Nicolas | Married | Brandon MB Wedding Photographer

As I'm typing this post, Westman is closed for a snow day.  I can't help but think about Monica & Nicolas' winter wedding and how grateful I was for it not being a snow day like today, because the ceremony was in Brandon MB and reception was in Rocanville SK, so highways closed = not an option!  Snow is pretty for photos, but not nice for driving 2 hours...Thankfully they were blessed with a cold & windy Manitoba winter day - safe for driving - no blizzards, yay!  Outdoor photos left them feeling frozen pretty quickly, so we found some natural light & nature indoors and stayed comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed the process, no need to freeze!  It was so cold, I captured a sundog on the drive to Rocanville, where they enjoyed a very warm reception.  The whole hall was either filled with laughter or wiping away tears (myself included!) as emotional speeches, videos & meaningful memories warmed hearts.  And those first dance moments! That first real, quiet, intimate moment alone where it all hits you, all at once and your heart explodes...all the feels right there!!  LOVE!  And that is why, I do, what I do.  Enjoy!
