I am a photographer based in Brandon, Manitoba and I specialize in creating elegant portraiture with a relaxed, photojournalistic style. Weddings, newborns and families, or anyone looking for images that focus on love and connection and natural expressions of joy, laughter and life at its' best. Born and raised in the Saskatchewan prairie, I have an appreciation for nature, hard work, simplicity, and real life. I use natural, clean, crisp editing with natural, candid expressions that are filled with emotion to create timeless, artistic, beautiful images.

I have a 3 year diploma from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design where I graduated at the top of my class with a 4.18 GPA. I have worked in the creative industry for over 10 years including newspaper, art director for Here magazine as well as freelance graphic designer and photographer. I have a keen eye for artistic compositions, beautiful light and my easy going personality brings out a relaxed, natural style. I use top quality professional equipment that works exceptionally well in low light conditions like dimly lit receptions and churches as well as extremely bright direct sun situations.

I have worked in the creative industry for over 10 years. With my experience working in newspaper and as the art director for a magazine, I offer a photojournalistic style of photography as well as magazine quality genuine portraits that combine to fully capture the true feeling of happiness - which is much more than just a smile for the camera. My photojournalistic style captures the real life events as they unfold without any intervention from me. My natural portraits are still the real, beautiful you with just a little bit of direction from me, I choose a beautiful scene, use creative composition and various point of view and give you a bit of advice on angles and how to stand and then we will just have fun! I love spontaneous little dance parties with my boys, my heart sings with joy and melts all at the same time, but I don't stop to photograph those moments myself.
