Gizelle + David = married | Kingston wedding photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing Gizelle & David's beautiful wedding as a second photographer with Sarah Rouleau Photography. As a second photographer, I have the opportunity to get images from alternate angles, and capture the little moments as everything is happening so quickly and all at once.  I had the opportunity to stay for the full wedding day, reception and belly dancers included!  Thanks Sarah for letting me share a few of my favorite images from their fabulous and fun wedding day.  Enjoy!

As a second photographer, I have the opportunity to get images from alternate angles, and capture the little moments as everything is happening so quickly and all at once.  Fall, orange and pumpkins were the theme of the wedding, and I almost can't believe we found a pumpkin patch near the Waring House complete with fresh pumpkins to get some photos to tie it all together!  Thanks Sarah for letting me share a few of my favorite images from their beautiful, inviting, intimate wedding day.  Enjoy!

Lauren + Curtis = married | Kingston wedding photographer

When Lauren and I discussed the details of her September 22 wedding, she told me that she planned to do the formal photography in an outdoor area that was near the property that was near and dear to her heart.  I absolutely love when couples choose a location that is meaningful to them (and especially as breathtaking as this wooded area!) When I asked Lauren what her plan B was if it rained, she told me that it wasn't going to rain, and that the only plan was to do have the ceremony outdoors and do photos outdoors!  I must admit I was a bit nervous for the plan to follow through when I arrived to Lauren & Curtis' wedding and it was raining.  But, as luck would have it, minutes before the ceremony was about to begin the wind calmed, and the sun came out and provided the most perfect backdrop to a beautiful wedding day.  Enjoy!

Kingston Newborn Photographer | Paisley & Delilah

When I'm photographing twins, I always feel the personality of each baby is truly captured in the images, and this was definitely true with these adorable little twin girls. Big brother loves his sisters so much, he was so happy to get in lots of snuggles with them. It was a pleasure to photograph this fun family, and we actually ended up getting them both to sleep at the same time! Enjoy!

Stef + Matt = married | Kingston wedding photographer

When I woke up on the morning of Stef & Matt's wedding day, I found a large branch broken off a neighbours tree and the wind was blowing the heavy rain sideways!  I was prepared to wear my huge umbrella strapped to both my chest and waist to get the outdoor pics they wanted.  By the time the ceremony was over, the sun was peeking out and the weather was perfect!  Followed by an amazing meal and party at the River Mill Restaurant. (and the cake was ridiculously delicious too!)  Enjoy!

Happy anniversary | graphic design

Happy anniversary Matthew & Jessyca! I took their wedding song, incorporated their colors, and a photo to create a very unique image which tells a beautiful story of their special day.  I had so much fun doing this project.  Jessyca supplied the photo for this, so I can do this for anyone!

Kingston newborn photography | Paige

We did baby Paige's photo shoot in her own girly-girl pink bedroom which makes these photos truly unique to her. While I do enjoy the posed shots, I also like to tell a bit of a story with the photos, capture a little piece of history beyond the perfect nose and wrinkled toes. Paige was a natural, when I tried to pose her one way, she would shift and roll until she felt she found a pose she liked, and it was always perfect. Enjoy!

Kingston family photography | TWINS!

I find children so much fun to photograph, and twins are twice as fun!  I am probably a bit biased because I have twin boys myself, but these two were busy having so much fun together that they didn't really seem to notice I was photographing them.  I enjoy capturing every moment of childhood, this time it was exploring the great outdoors and discovering all of its wondrous possibilities!

Dawn + Gary = married | Kingston wedding photographer

It was a hot, hot day for Dawn and Gary's beautiful country wedding.  Dawn and Gary were so much fun during their engagement photo session that I just couldn't wait to photograph their wedding!  It was a country style wedding on her parents farm and the location and day couldn't have been better.  Dawn was lucky enough to have two dresses and her and the girls wore these great red shoes (red IS my favorite color, so of course I loved it!) and Gary and the men wore black adidas sneakers.  Held on Canada day it was also perfectly fitting to blast off some fireworks to celebrate such a fun day.  I love the little details that make every wedding unique, fun and personal, and I was so happy to capture their wedding story for them.  Enjoy!

Kingston engagement photography | Peggy & Dan

When I'm photographing a couple's engagement, I want love to look natural and genuine. Peggy and Dan easily slipped into a state of loveliness together and I am so happy to have captured some of those intimate moments for them. We went downtown to where Dan proposed, illustrating their engagement story.  I had a blast following this couple around the city!

Kingston engagement photography | Lauren & Curtis

Lauren and Curtis travelled from Ottawa down to Kingston to capture some engagement photos of where they first met. They took me back to the very place where they shared their first kiss and met for the first time. What a perfect way to illustrate their own love story.  I had so much fun with this couple and I can't wait to photograph every moment of their wedding!

Kingston engagement photography | Dawn & Gary

It was nice of the rain to take a break long enough for Dawn and Gary to enjoy a few moments together in the warm sunshine. These two are a very fun loving couple and I am really looking forward to capturing all of the moments on their wedding day!

Kingston baby photography | Emanuele

Emanuele loves the camera, what else can I say? There is so much love in this family, it didn't take long to get a few great shots that are full of natural emotion. Having fun and being close just came naturally, and I think it shows in the moments I've captured for them.

Kingston logo design | Plush

A sensual art and trade show needs a voluptuous logo that flirts with the client's temptation to see more!  The logo is designed to tickle your sensual spirit and invite you to join the fun.  It is attractive and professional for potential vendors, and a splash of fun and flirtation attracts the clients' attention.  I can't wait to check out this trade show myself!

Kingston newborn photography | Brock

Baby Brock is completely adorable and tolerated being positioned and re-positioned so many times without fussing at all! Mom and baby were both amazing, as we did a lot of poses. It was a hot, sunny morning and I had such a great time capturing moments of baby Brock's whole family right in their own beautiful yard. I could have photographed them all day.

Kingston family photography | Lena

Lena surprised her mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin with a Mother's Day photo shoot! There is so much love in this family, and that is what I wanted to capture for them. The natural beauty and emotion of these lovely ladies comes through in these photos.

Kingston twin photography | TWINS!

I belong to a group for families of multiples because I have twin boys, so we have crazy lives and stories that only multiple families will truly understand.  So I was so excited when a friend in the group approached me to do a fundraiser photo shoot with the families of the group!  We had such a fun day and I enjoyed photographing all of these families with twins and more.  Enjoy!

Kingston logo designer | Spirit & Spunk

Bold and beautiful, courageous and sexy, this logo finds a woman who knows what she wants...and she wants it all!  The solid, strong serif font encompassed by the seduction of organic, feminine lines captures the spirit and spunk of boudoir photography.  Juicy magenta pumps up the feminine power of this logo which doesn’t shy away into the background.  Combines well with a boudoir style background inspired by vintage wallpaper for advertising.

Kingston logo designer | Julia Martens Photography

This logo was designed to reflect the professional yet casual and approachable style of Julia Martens photography.  The color palette was chosen based on Julia's inspiration for her photography.  Stylish background supports the logo design and coordinates with the full color flip side to this card, Julia's boudoir photography.
